As an Interior Architect/Interior Designer at Builders Brisbane, you will play a pivotal role in designing kitchens, home interiors, and managing colour selections. You’ll also contribute to the exterior design process and conduct research and development to ensure our homes align with the latest architectural and design trends. Working closely with clients, you will guide them through the selection process, providing expert advice and support in our showrooms.

• Team Collaboration: Work alongside the sales, construction, and design teams to ensure seamless integration of client choices into the building process.
• Colour and Material Selection: Work with clients to select colours, finishes, and materials that align with their vision and preferences.
• Exterior Design: Collaborate on exterior design elements to ensure cohesive and attractive outcomes.
• Client Interaction: Guide clients through our showrooms, manage appointments, and provide expert advice on design and material choices.
• Trend Research: Stay updated on the latest trends in architecture and interior design, conducting R&D to create lookbooks and innovative concepts.
• Architectural Visualisation: Use architectural visualisation software to present design concepts and bring ideas to life.‍
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside the sales, construction, and design teams to ensure seamless integration of client choices into the building process.
• Project Management Assistant: You will also be working alongside our project management team in delivery of client documents, working with suppliers on material procurement and other general tasks.

• Education: A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in designing interiors and managing client selections, ideally within the residential construction industry.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in architectural design programs (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) with a willingness to learn proprietary software used by Builders Brisbane.
• Design Expertise: Strong understanding of colour theory, materials, and finishes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients and team members.‍
