Job Description

As a Sales Associate, you will work closely with the Head of Sales to guide clients through the initial stages of the construction process. Your role will involve handling customer interactions, educating clients on project timelines, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. A background in town planning, real estate, property development or building approvals is highly valued, as this will help you address client inquiries about regulatory requirements and streamline the approval process for projects.

You will work through our CRM alongside a very experienced and professional team whilst learning on the job in an ever changing industry. We love pushing our team further into their careers so we would love for you to run your own clients and take on further responsibilites in the future!

Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with potential clients, answering inquiries and providing information on Builders Brisbane’s construction process and services.
  • Sales Support: Assist the Salesperson in preparing and following up on proposals, coordinating client meetings, and updating CRM entries.
  • Town Planning and Building Approvals: Advise clients on preliminary town planning requirements and building approvals, offering guidance to help ensure projects align with local regulations.
  • Documentation Support: Work alongside the sales and construction teams to facilitate necessary documentation for council approvals and client contracts.
  • Follow-Up and Client Management: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of project timelines, approvals status, and any necessary steps in the lead-up to construction.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay informed on local zoning, planning laws, and construction industry trends to best support client needs.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Background in Town Planning or Building Approvals: Familiarity with council regulations, land use, and building approvals is essential for advising clients on project requirements.
  • Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer service, ideally within the construction or real estate industries.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex information clearly, concisely, and professionally.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and timelines.
  • Tech Proficiency: Competence in CRM systems and basic computer skills, including text and image editing.
